I guess this will be my first official post of my blog space. I originally had some other posts but never did put them up and they were left as drafts. I am currently in Edithvale, Victoria, Australia. Originally from the city of Madison in the great state of Wisconsin, USA. I miss it quite a bit, and miss my two boys (dogs) even more. But such is life and there are always new beginnings (bringing dogs or animals into Australia, even if they are pets, is quite complicated and not 100% with big risks of forever losing your pet).
I've always been an avid fisherman and my world usually revolved around it. Since moving to Australia I have gotten into kayak fishing and have found it to be quite different, addicting, and pleasant. My original kayak was a Hobie Revolution 13. I fitted everything out myself and was on the water from time to time, but my biggest goal was to get a Hobie Adventure Island (AI). So here I am now, finally put the money towards the purchase of an AI and waiting to pick it up Saturday (21Jun2014). I'm pretty excited and nervous as I've never sailed before but everyone I have met with an AI has told me it is really easy to learn and that I would have a blast, so I'm hoping the learning part is true because I am sure I will enjoy it thoroughly.
I guess that's just a quick entry and update for now. More to come and hopefully videos and pics instead of blabbering with nothing. I'm hoping to do reviews of fishing gear, tips and tricks of fishing, any modification walkthroughs I do, and fishing reports of areas whenever I get out. Cheers (trying to be Aussie lol).
